Meals on Wheels

Meals on Wheels provides a hot meal and friendly visit daily to homebound seniors in South Louisville with a goal to increase nutritional health and provide daily personal interaction.
“You all have a great group of drivers, and I so much appreciate having someone come see me every day.”
— a Meals recipient

Partnered with Louisville Metro Senior Nutrition Program, KIPDA, and Jewish Sts Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, we provide hot lunches to around 70 homebound seniors every weekday.  Meals are delivered by volunteers from 10:30AM-Noon. These 7 routes are delivered out of two sites--Beechmont Community Center and Sts. Mary and Elizabeth hospital.  If you or a family member is in need of Meals on Wheels, please call 502-361-7763.  To be eligible, the recipient must live alone (or with another eligible senior), must not drive, and be over 60 years old.
